Nobody really knows how it happens, they just attend to a call that every now and then a probably deeply concerned guy from the very farthest future makes. Using technology even the most educated men can't even conceive, he brings together men from all times and places in a sort of gender meeting to discuss the undoubted ultimate question for their own definition, neatly written and explained in as many languages as needed on a sheet of paper always located right in the center of this meeting point:

Which are the exact and fundamental characteristics that constitute the definition of Man at all times?

As we may expect such a question always arises great disputes from individuals who hardly have anything in common (such a 20th century British gentleman and a Brazilian dancer from the colonial time) in a effort for finally unveiling the elusive answer.

And so thanks to yet another mysterious technological feat these gathered men deliberate using a common language nobody could remember after. Usual disagreements emerge when manners, seduction techniques, hobbies or dressing codes are brought in. Some consider those as consequences of lost battles within the never-ending Sex War, permanent signs of defeat against a meant-to-be weak gender. Others cope with the problem more wisely, by taking them as the heritage millennia bestow upon those who dare to endure.

In the end the most significant outcome is a substantial mind change that allows every single attending man to alter the course masculinity has on his space and time. However history has certainly proven that these shifts might not always lead to reinforcement. Therefore we, men belonging to a time neither so well defined nor so embracing, would like to demand this mysterious host indirectly yet strongly responsible of male gender evolution which are the goals he is pursuing and whose interests they favor. Would not be far easier to grant the ultimate male wisdom to men in all ages?

While one of us curious askers is chosen for the next meeting we have no choice but to attempt to decipher the truth among, who else, us men.
